Virtual Spaces PDF Print E-mail

This section has a list of the spaces Trimensions has designed so far. These include spaces in both 3DXplorer and Second Life, and now Google Lively as well! These  platforms represent significant divergences in the paradigm of virtual worlds, and we are interested in exploring all. Where we are talking both in terms of the 3D Web as well as centralized virtual worlds.

Clicking on the thumbnails below will take you to the space in a new browser window. You can then navigate the space in 'walkthrough mode' where you click and drag on the screen to move your viewpoint around, and use the arrow keys to move around. Some objects are clickable, others and images can have hyperlinks to other site. If you want to walk around as an avatar and interact with other people on this site, please look at the upper right corner of the space once it has loaded, and log in or register for a free avatar!

Please click on the links to your left to navigate our 3D spaces. Clicking on a Second Life link will take you to an SLurl telport link. Please note that you will need to be a Second Life resident to teleport to the space. Ditto the Google Lively rooms. 3DXplorer spaces require no registration or download, you just need the latest version of Java installed on your machine. All except the Second Life spaces are explorable from within the browser itself.

Oh, and Mac users? Well, 3DXplorer spaces can open with Leopard, but OSX Tiger users will be disappointed. None of the Lively spaces would work either, and you would need the Mac version of the Second Life client to get to the spaces.
